We are a research group based out of Queen's University investigating music and video games.

How does music help us emotionally connect to games? What cues does music in video games give the player? How can video game music communicate narrative and storyline? We investigate these questions and more through the study of ludomusicology, a discipline with relationships to music theory, musicology, film music, semiotics, and media studies.
